I know this post is probably unfashionable, especially since there is no picture, but I feel like expressing some "deep thoughts. I'm worry about the attitude I've had over the past couple of weeks and I feel it's a common attitude; it almost appears trendy at times. In an effort to forget about all of the small 'worries' of day to day life I'm afraid I've forgotten myself and I've forgotten about others. It seems that many deal with their worries by becoming callous to the emotions of others that are so tenderly enveloped in their expressions of excitement. What I mean by this is that we'll often say things that can really cut deep, but we won't know it unless we stop and really think about it because the other person sure as heck isn't going to show it. That, or one truly has become so calloused that they're completely insensitive to others' insecurities. As so many church leaders have suggested, I recommend that we find ourselves in the service of others. Hopefully this will help us become a little more sensitive to the quiet beauties of life.
