work. it was a good day at work. shout outs to all my ladies on line 5. thanks for your hard work. it means a lot. special thanks to Carina for being all smiles. some more to Pamela for saying, "hey there, handsome," and almost giving me enough reason/desire/strength to walk out that door and never come back. to Maryanne for telling me i was being too efficient. to Beverly, and all the ladies that will soon be close enough in age to be my grandmother, or just appear that way because they've been working here too long.
i have an amazing amount of time to think during work. i thought about a few weeks ago when we went to vegas and we stopped at a del taco. i ordered a hamburger and made it disappear into my belly faster than you could ever say, "danny glover is the poor man's samuel l. jackson." i bunched the wrapper into a ball before tossing it into the trash and thought about how delicious the burger was. as i threw away the wrapper i meant to say, "that was good," but instead, "that was easy," came out. that was easy? i said it in a way that sounded like someone had challenged me to eat the burger without difficulty. that's exactly what i did. it was pretty easy. i laughed about it. Brandon has started working at the plant with us. he's a bag of fun. i decided that everyone should have ipods and dance on fridays. you could choose to sit it out, but i hope you dance. i hope you dance.
i thought about saying "aw, you shouldn't have," to pamela after she said, "hey there, handsome," or something like that. i thought about if i didn't put the "aw" or "ah" in front of "you shouldn't have," and then kind of screamed it at her, because of the heavy noise that exists amongst the domesticated machinery of the factory. "YOU SHOULDN'T HAVE!" "YOU SHOULDN'T HAVE SAID THAT, PAMELA!" "YOU'RE GOING TO REGRET SAYING THAT, PAMELA!" that's just sort of how it would sound. funny how that works. you can say the same thing, but in different inflections/volumes and it could totally change how it is heard by the listener.
make a lasagna. make a friend. do a dance. sing a song. write a monster ballad. don't do drugs. be a hero. stop a villain. start a fad. eat a peach. plant a tree. learn how it grows. tell her how you feel. tell him how you feel. buy a keychain. take your keys out your pocket. jingle them around like a small baby. feel good. do an "OK" sign with your right hand over your knee. look down at it. punch yourself in the arm for doing so.

This made me miss you SOOO much!
i've never commented on a blog before, but that made me cry with laughter.
yeah, that part about yelling at pamela definitely made me laugh out loud, in my room, by myself. but you really know how to get your deepthoughts out, they just flow, thought to thought, not really connecting, but yet...totally connecting. deep.
