whoomp, there it is.

this is a bug. an insect. it was on our window. when i first spotted it, it was like those experiences you have in the car when you're trying to figure out whether a bug is on the inside or outside of the windshield. you don't really want to reach out for it, because if you touch it it's going to go nuts on you. same story. i saw this large bug and i wasn't afraid, i'm just not a huge fan of trying to grab her by the wings and then freaking out when it starts flapping around like some sort of crazy. it was on the outside.


i rented the movie 'Benny and Joon' from the provo library. it's free. 3 weeks you get these movies. 3 weeks. i saw this movie a long while ago and didn't remember anything about it except the proclaimer's "i would walk 500 miles" was in it, and there was a scene where johnny depp sticks 2 forks in 2 dinner rolls and moves them around like they're dancing legs and feet. clever. well, it was pretty good this time around. there's a part at the end where joon's in the hospital facing the window talking to benny and another lady and out of nowhere johnny depp's character gets on this swing that window washers sit on in order to clean the high windows and swings back and forth while this happy music is playing. it's all in slow motion. i thought it very refreshing. ya feel me?
