"tuesday, you see, she had to be free, but somehow i've got to carry on."

thank you for being ready.  it seems as though i underestimated the time it would take to reach the 5.  i'm pretty curious to know if dustin viewed the post earlier in the week, but wasn't quite ready for the new blog to drop.  i respect that.  

as for the unveiling of the new blog, i feel like it shouldn't be on a sunday.  i really don't.  it's a 3 day weekend for a lot of people.  i don't want to take away from anyone's valentine's or presidents day.  it's not cool to take away from these holidays.  although, maybe this could add to both?  

let's think about it.  monday's a holiday.  on most mondays, everyone's upset they're back at work or in school, but the recent weekend is still fresh in our minds.  when tuesday rolls around, we're progressing towards the middle, but realize it's only the middle of the beginning and there are a good amount of numbers to be crunched, bills to be paid, stress to be felt, emails to be sent, phone calls to be made, potential bridges to be burned due to the lack of phone calls made and emails sent on past tuesdays, about 32 more hours at your office desk (if you're working the regular 9 to 5 week. if not, so many more hours.) until the weekend, walls to be painted, papers to write, etc.  the list grows with marriage and having children.  

on the flip side, tuesdays not only represent having too much time before fridays, but also having enough time.  tuesdays give the illusion that we can put something due on friday off for another day, giving start to the troublesome practice of procrastination.  after all, it's only tuesday.  

now, i may be giving tuesday a bad rap (erc = bad rap? impossible), but all the good and fun enjoyed on any other day can be enjoyed on tuesday as well.  

that's why the new blog will be unveiled this coming tuesday at 11:30am.  

i don't know, i guess if we don't like, or even hate, something or someone, we might as well try harder to feel the opposite.

the way i see it, this needs to happen on tuesday.  if mondays are terrible for marking the end of the weekend, what about the traditional 3-day weekend?  tuesday has that traditional 3-day weekend in the scorpion deathlock, and the weekend's tapping out.  i feel like this upcoming blog can somehow be a way to counter the deathlock.  i kind of see it as our own tongan death grip.  we just need to hold that grip until the death comes, because celebrating too soon could prove to be devastating.  let's hope tuesday doesn't have a spear and jackhammer up his/her sleeve.
