When you get old you´ll talk to anything: your dog, your great grandson, or even a statue. Sometimes we give that kind of stuff a bad rap, but maybe we shouldn´t. You´d have to imagine that a lot of these elderly folk have a lot of thoughts running through their heads and a lot of the time they don´t have anyone to talk to but there wife. We´ve all heard our grandparents tell us the same stories 50 times. Can you imagine how many times their spouses have heard those stories? Maybe that´s why I like the people I live with in Provo so much--I never get the same story more than twice. Anyway, I´ve decided to advocate that cool slogan, ¨Be heard.¨ I´m not talking about being heard by anyone else, but being heard by my self. For this next week I´m going to practice talking aloud to myself. Maybe this way I´ll be able to ¨hear myself¨
