on monday this acquaintance from where i used to live saw me and referred to me as "john." i was thrown off at first because i didn't know she was talking to me. i didn't correct her, because i was surprised and i didn't think i'd see her again in the near future or ever. the silly thing is i ended up sitting at the computer next to her last night in the library and she called me "john" twice. still didn't correct her. i had bigger fish to fry so i just let it burn. gotta let it burn. i'm not sure if that is proper usage of that line. i'll have to ask my friend, usher. we were in the same hip hop dance class last year. he'll sometimes text me about upcoming get togethers at his house.

or you could ask your friend bkb ough ough. (thats me). you know i know every word to every usher song from '01-'05. "gotta let it burn" refers to burning the bridges of the relationship, i think. so what you just said means you gotta let your relationship with "your aquaintance from where you used to live" burn. well, she was a nice girl.
