i'm several days late on this one, but it doesn't change the fact that my brother, greg, had a birthday. i think this will be the last birthday post for awhile, or maybe even forever. just can't keep up with it. a lot of spring and summer birthdays. happy birthday to dustin skinner as well. he's a great friend and we all love him here. but this post is especially for gregory d. cottrell. that drawing is supposed to look like greg, but doesn't really. sometimes my hands have the hardest time doing what my brain wants.
it's fine though. we'll be fine.

greg is terrific. i was thinking the other day and greg and his wife, allyson, have been around my whole stay in provo so far. i know they don't especially love to be here, but it's been great having them around. greg loves fun and can make us all laugh. he's talented musically and artistically, and his creativity has been a big inspiration to me. he has a positive outlook on life and knows what's truly important. he and allyson are great parents and it's been neat observing as they raise their daughter, eviejane. greg has always been supportive to our family. he's very kind and gives sincere compliments to others. he's a believer. greg, you are so bomb. we love you. all of us do. go ahead and give greg some love in the comments section. if you don't, we'll probably have some celebrities leave some, like bette midler or jonathan taylor thomas.
